Can’t say I didn’t warn you!
"Ariel" is new for spring from Evie's Closet.
Remember when I said that you might eventually see a “What Vic Is Wearing” blog entry? The time has come!
Fifty Linden Fridays are always fun, and there are always good things to be had. But I think the two best things I bought today came as a result of notices from Subscribe-O-Matics (I LOVE these things; you stay updated WITHOUT having to give up a group space).
The dress above is “Ariel” in pink from Evie’s Closet. I already have a couple of things I LOVE from Evie’s, most recently the Apple Fairy gown that was a group gift, so when the notecard came I tore into it right away. And wow! I’ve been ready for spring – especially today, as in RL I’m in the midst of a snowstorm – and this dress just grabbed me instantly. So I TPed and then… decision time. So many colors! I narrowed it down to yellow or pink but couldn’t make up my mind, so I went off and hit the 50L Friday places for a few hours and then came back. It was a tough choice, but as shown in the pic, I went with the pink.
Since this is a “what I’m wearing” post, the hair is Sage by Truth, the skin is Sweetheart in Nutmeg with Celestial makeup by Cupcakes, nails are by *Petit Ange* in wine, and the eyes are my own creation.
Also via Subscribe-O-Matic, I got a notecard about a new gown by Nicky Ree. This time, though, I actually found something I liked better when I TPed to Nicky’s LE.LOOK store – the Honey gown. But I wanted the short version in orange, and the LE.LOOK location only had the short one in yellow. Lucky for me, I found exactly what I was looking for at her main store.

Same skin and eyes as before. Hair is “Aphrodite” by Adam n Eve (sadly, I don’t think it’s still available, but it’s incredibly close to my RL hair), shoes are “Shanti” in silver by Maitreya Gold.
WOW, did I see some POWERFUL facelights while shopping! Seriously, WHY would anyone wear a facelight that completely washes out a 20-sqm area around them? I sometimes wear what I hope is a very subtle facelight I made myself, just for snaps (OK, I forget to take it off a lot, but I’ve never noticed it casting shadows around me).
And don’t even get me started on prim boobs. Those are just WRONG.
