Review policy
As much as I’d love to be showered in all kinds of awesome things for free, I will probably never ask a creator to give me something to review unless it’s a special case like Fantasy Faire where bloggers were assigned specific creators to write about.
I blog when I have both time and inspiration. Sometimes that’s a lot, sometimes it’s not. If you send me something to blog, rest assured I WILL make an effort to blog it. I do have certain tastes as far as what I like to wear, but mostly I appreciate the quality of the design more than the style.
I will never appear au naturel, even partly, on this blog, but that’s really my only hard-and-fast rule. If your creation leaves the naughty bits exposed, I’m probably not the best choice to blog it.
If you’re in any doubt, ask me first (it would help to have a pic too). There are things I personally might not wear on my blog, but I have a couple of friends who might. If that’s the case, you can either pass me a transfer version or I’ll ask you to send it to one of them (that goes for male attire as well).
If you are nice enough to send me something for nothing, I’m not going to be mean enough to write something overly critical. I WILL look for the good points and emphasize them, and if there are not-so-good points, I’ll be nice about them. Luckily I’m pretty easy to please most of the time… especially if you send me something chartreuse. ;D
On the flip side, I’m also a creator and I would LOVE to be blogged – except I’m too shy to send out unsolicited blogger packs. But just ask and I’ll be delighted to send some stuff your way… and yes, I know that’s hypocritical since I won’t ask for review stuff myself. :D
